Shield Technology is available in feeds throughout MFA’s nutritional portfolio for animals at all stages of production. Feeds with Shield help improve the animal’s immune system, protect against oxidative stress, boost digestive health and increase feed efficiency, daily gain, rumen function breedback and overall performance.

This supplement contains concentrated colostrum extract, synbiotics, botanical extracts, fatty acids and vitamins. Use on newborn and stressed animals to stimulate appetite, provide quick energy, promote growth and develop immunity. Spray-dried egg antibodies also help combat scours. It’s administered with a convenient dosing tube or pump bottle.

This liquid version of Shield is designed to be mixed in stock tanks, water medicators, milk replacer and liquid feed. Available in quart, gallon and 5-gallon containers, it encourages water intake during times of stress or disease challenge. Use Shield Liquid when animals are being weaned, shipped, received, shown or when recovering from disease.

This animal-protein-free version of Shield Plus has the same purposes and benefits but does not contain egg antibodies. This formulation allows producers to meet increasing consumer demand for products sourced from livestock that have not consumed animal proteins.

Shield Technology is available in Performance First supplement tubs, which are made by MFA. These tubs come in both a 20% protein pressed formula and 16% poured version. They contain all the trace vitamins and minerals cattle need for a balanced, healthy diet. Shield is also available in QLF liquid supplements.
