Our true value lies in the talented team of employees who carry out MFA’s mission to provide forward-thinking knowledge, resources and services to our members and customers. As agriculture evolves, so, too, must the education and training that supports the industry. Incorporating emerging technologies into MFA employee training and agriculture education programs ensures that the workforce — both present and future — is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the changing landscape of the industry.

The Little River Lookout, an inclusive, handicap-accessible playground for children ages 2 to 12, represents the immense impact a community of hard-working volunteers can make in a short amount of time. Over six hot June days, a group of 350 workers—including MFA Ag Experience interns—built the park, which opened June 30. An MFA Charitable Foundation grant helped fund the project.
Hosted annually by MFA Incorporated and MFA Oil, the Emerging Leaders in Agriculture conference brings together professional producers between the ages of 21 and 45 for education and networking in Lake Ozark, Mo. The program is designed to help young farmers better manage and grow their agricultural businesses while connecting them with like-minded peers. In previous conferences, attendees from Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma heard from agribusiness experts and discussed issues and challenges facing agriculture, cooperatives and rural America. Among speakers are presidents and chairmen of each cooperative.
