They discuss ways to reduce numbers in the field through rotation and other management to deal with this worm that is classified as a disease because it is a vector for so many diseases and other pest .
2 min - Kevin Moore gives a summary of SCN and how they came to the US along with soil from overseas when inoculating for specific nitrogen creating bacteria. The team discusses host plants.
9 min - Scott talks about management and experiences with pulling tests for the pest. Has never sampled a field without a population, usually much higher than management threshold. Make sure to take a composite sample since populations vary in the field.
