MFA Foundation Scholarships increase to $2,500 each
The application period for the 2025 MFA Foundation Scholarship Program is now open, providing students in MFA’s trade territory with financial assistance to reach their higher education goals. This year, each scholarship is increasing to $2,500, up from the previous amount of $2,000.
The MFA Foundation scholarships are intended to help students pursue studies and develop careers that enhance the future of rural America. The funds may be used at any college or university toward an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
The MFA Foundation, which is jointly administered by MFA Incorporated and MFA Oil and their local affiliates, has awarded more than $17.5 million in scholarships since the program began in 1965. Children, stepchildren or grandchildren/step-grandchildren of MFA Incorporated and MFA Oil member-
level customers are eligible to apply. Around 300 scholarships are awarded to high school seniors each year.
Applications are completed online and must be submitted by the deadline of Feb. 15, 2025, at mfafoundation.com.
